I Love It When You Talk Foreign

23 May 2018 - The Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA)? Eastern Cape Branch hosted a speednetworking event at the Tramways Building in Port Elizabeth.

The event theme, "I Love It When You Talk Foreign", identified common communication barriers faced when working in a multicultural country, such as South Africa.

Toastmaster Emmy Nxayeka from Algoa Toastmasters?, discussed the various solutions to overcome these barriers and entertained the audience by sharing a few of her personal experiences.

Wilderness Foundation Africa? provided exquisite canapes, served by their very own waitrons.
Guests were invited to join a speednetworking session, much like speed dating, but with establishing a business relationship as the ultimate goal.

Party Adventures PE? provided the tables and cutlery, Meridian Wine Merchants? sponsored wine and beer was sponsored by Richmond Hill Brewing Co?, further drinks were sponsored by The Waste Trade Company?. - Vicky du Toit?
